CSBT HOSTS GOV. MARK SANFORD
Gov. Sanford spoke to a crowd of "more than 200 students, faculty and neighbors" and "said for the first time that he might accept the rest of the federal stimulus money due to South Carolina if lawmakers use an equivalent amount of state money to pay down debt the next two years."
CSBT NAMED "ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR"
The Association of Furman Students, Furman's student government, awarded Conservative Students for a Better Tomorrow the 2008-2009 "Organization of the Year" for "superior dedication to AFS and the greater student body."
